The Castanon Family
About Country Acres
Originally from Colorado and California, we decided to migrate to the East Coast because our love for the shore is equal to our love for the vibrant colors in Autumn. We came to the Cape for the first time in early 2019 and knew this was the place for us. We said goodbye to our corporate jobs and took a leap of faith into the unknown. We are truly blessed, and thankful life has led us here. We are explorers at heart, so the opportunity to share our experiences and offer suggestions while providing a safe and comfortable place for our guests to stay is a blessing in itself. We are grateful for every guest and want to share the mystic and charm of Cape Cod with every single one of you.
We are a family-owned and operated motel located in the historic town of Sandwich, Massachusetts. We are 7 miles east of the Sagamore Bridge, which is the port of entry onto Cape Cod. The Town of Sandwich was Incorporated in 1639, making it the oldest town on the Cape, and one of the oldest towns in the United States. Our location makes us a perfect choice because we are near all connecting points of travel, making all your desired travel destinations easy to reach. We are located directly on the Old Kings Highway, also known as Route 6A. Old Kings Highway is a beautiful scenic highway that winds its way through some of the oldest villages in America. It will take you from one end of the Cape to the other. We are approximately 60 miles away from Provincetown and Boston. Travel to Plymouth is about 20 miles away, and The National Seashore Park is in proximity as well.
Our vision at Country Acres is to reinvent the expected. To change the perception of what it means to stay in a motel. Our mission is to offer our guests a clean and comfortable room at an affordable price, with a traditional common courtesy that one should expect from the hospitality industry. We are family-friendly and welcome those who are traveling alone, with large groups, or on a business trip.
